Here are some shots from the 2nd annual caminata that was held in San Carlos the middle of February of 2013. This year was almost identical in turnout with around 350 people participating in the event. I did have a bit of a problem when transferring the video to the hard drive so this year there may not be a video of the event to post. I did recuperate some pictures though and am somewhat hopeful I might salvage the video. Thanks to the sponsors and participants of this event. The money goes to the Papanikolaou society in Guaymas that pays for underprivileged woman to receive free cancer screening. Last year with help form this event they screened thousands of women in Guaymas.

First of all thank you so much for all of your help and support. “The Walk of Life” was a great success due to all of your hard work and dedication. I hope that you will be involved next year as well. I know that I had the great pleasure of getting to know some wonderful individuals. All I can say is THANKS!!!
We were able to raise a total of 117,557.44 pesos, with our actual income being 92,057.44 after costs. Also we had over 300 people sign up to walk. I’m so thrilled with our statistics, and so is Agrupacion George Papanicolaou de Guaymas. This money raised will help a lot of people.
