WHO IS YOUR HERO?

Deadline tonight!

Don’t forget to nominate your Hero, deadline is Wednesday night (13th) at midnight, we extended it one day. So far the nominations we have received for the 3 rd Annual DOUG MARSHALL Community Service Award are:

*Castaway Kids Volunteers are not eligible for this award, but we always mention all the nominees, because by just being nominated, we think it shows the community’s appreciation and support.

OR, If you prefer the paper ballot method, you can put your nominee’s name & contact info on a piece of paper stating they are your nominee for the award, your reasons as to why they  should receive the award and take the ballot to Castaway Kids’ “In-Box” at Long Realty/Seaside in Plaza Aricifes. Please take the time to nominate one or more of your heroes, the  number of nominations received is part of the deciding factor! Lots of volunteers who were nominated in past two years have not been renominated, don’t let your hero go unnoticed.

 

A panel of residents will vote to choose one person to be honored at Castaway Kids’ 3rd Annual  Beach Party at La Palapa Griega on March 24th.

 

Our Volunteers have been busy lining up great talent, door prizes and silent auction items for our big Beach Party, be sure it’s on your calendar because you’re not going to want to miss it,  doors open at 11:00, Music starts at noon and will go until dusk. Remember, the crowds don’t hit San Carlos for Semana Santa until Wednesday or Thursday, so delay your departure until after this great event. As always, no cover charge–
