A miracle has happened in San Carlos. It happened right in front of my eyes and if I had not seen it with my own eyes and taken a picture of it with my own camera I would have had a difficult time believing it. But as you can see by the pictures it really happened.
A bus driver actually got a ticket on the side road in front of the Sonoran Sport Center and Cheques Hot Dogs for speeding.
After the bus left I personally congratulated Hector the policeman.
Hector you are the man!
It’s about time they caught that bus driver. We live in the area and have often encountered him speeding down the side road. Now if we just get them started on the public. A police officer told us that they used to give out speeding tickets, but the Mayor’s of Guaymas had people coming to his office crying and complaining they could not afford the ticket, so his solution was to phone the chief over here and tell them to back off. Of course this does not apply to Americans and Canadians, we are still fair game for speeding and any other made up violation.
Of all the years I have been here I think that is the first time I have ever seen it happen, hope it is not the last!!
